Aprille has done some amazing things in her life to support women. I am thrilled to be able to share her insight and wisdom with you.
Enjoy,

What do you do and why is it important?
As a result of working with me, entrepreneurs, coaches and speakers are able to boldly step into their purpose and serve more people, make more money and increase the imprint they leave in the world. It’s important that Women servant leaders have the business savvy it takes to build a sustainable and profitable business – sharing their stories and change lives with integrity and care.
What advice would you give to your 20 year-old self?
I would tell my 20-year-old self to save more money and never ignore your intuition.
What are three things that you know for sure?
I know for sure that life is precious and we only get one opportunity to live it – I know for sure that tomorrow isn’t promised and that today, this moment is all we have to make a difference in someone else existence. I know for sure that we are put here to serve and to be a vessel of good will for other people. I know for sure that walking in your purpose can be a lonely road and that the fear that accompanies any unknown journey is diminished by the outcome of the purpose.
What is the best advice (financial, emotional, spiritual, health-related) that you have ever received? Why did that piece of wisdom resonate with you so much? I’m not sure about advise but I can share what I live by, it’s a quote by Oprah.
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” Being grateful for everything and everyone in my life is a daily practice.
What is going on in your business/career that EVERYONE should know about now? Is there a product or service that we should ALL know about?
Yes! I’m super excited to share my journey to women and men who want a better understanding of women – through my memoir, Confessions of an Independent Women: Truth, Lies & Relationships, I share some extremely personal details. The summer of 2014 we plan to release the Expanded and Revised Edition of my book, revealing even more, to heal more women around the globe. You can find details about my book at www.theconfessionsbook.com
What rituals, if any, do you do on a daily, monthly, or yearly to keep you focused, positive, or centered?
Prayer and having a spiritual foundation keeps me faithful and purposeful. Helps keep the ego in check too. Another thing I do on a consistent basis is REMAIN plugged into things, people and events that are pouring goodness into my life. I invest in my development both personally and professionally. I take vacations every year and take several planned “mini-escapes” away as well.
How do you handle setbacks? What skills, support, or personality trait do you rely on the most to help you overcome adversity?
I used to handle them like most people. Frantically. As I’ve grown I know that setbacks are a part of success and I should plan and expect them to be part of the journey. I rely on my belief system and I know for a fact that everything always works out. There is a lesson in it all and we’d be foolish to think that the journey to success is going to be all shiny and rosey. There are some potholes we have to look out for. Be prepared.
